🚀 Chandrayaan-4 Advancing India’s Lunar Science Journey

India’s lunar exploration program doesn’t stop evolving with the next mission Chandrayaan, 4 by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). After the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan, 3, this mission moves in a direction of a more profound scientific investigation of the Moon. Chandrayaan, 4 is envisioned as a technology and science mission, which will help India extend its knowledge of lunar materials and activities beyond just surface exploration.

The ability to demonstrate collecting lunar samples and returning them to Earth is one of the main goals of Chandrayaan, 4 missions. When samples are transported back to Earth, scientists get the opportunity to analyze Moon rocks and soil in well, equipped laboratories, something that cannot be done with remote instruments only. This kind of study can provide clues to scientists about the Moons origin, the changes it has undergone on the surface, and its mineral makeup.
