Rising Middle East Tensions After Drone and Missile Attacks
The geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have escalated sharply after the reports of drone and missile strikes on the oil facilities of Saudi Arabia and the ship near the United Arab Emirates waters. At the same time, Iran and its regional and global enemies are facing rivalry and hate which is increasing day by day.
In fact, these hostilities raised the question regarding the stability of one of the worlds most important regions strategically. It is known that the Middle East is the lifeline of the global energy supply and any accident or attack on the oil facilities can have an immediate effect on international markets. Experts believe that these kinds of incidents might lead to the increase of the oil price and bring disturbances in supply chains.

A certain number of reports state that drones and missiles were the weapons to attack the crucial facilities related to energy production. On the one hand, the damages are being evaluated, on the other hand, the incidents have emphasized how nowadays the technologies of war such as drones have become the main component of the conflicts in different parts of the world.
These conflicts mostly resulted from the intricate relations of Iran with the US and Israel. They have, in fact, at least, one dozen times disagreed with each other both politically and militarily over the issues of regional dominance and security threats

Shipping routes in the Gulf region are also under tighter surveillance. The seas surrounding the UAE are viewed as a crucial gateway of trade and energy transport to the rest of the world. Any disruptions to ships or tankers in these waters may result in serious repercussions for the world’s economic activities. Most security experts think that such incidents are often just signs within larger geopolitical confrontations. Instead of all, out wars, today’s conflicts in this part of the world tend to take the form of indirect actions, cyber attacks, or even targeted strikes that are aimed at sending political messages.
Negotiations are underway to prevent the crisis from spiraling out of control. International bodies and major world players are still urging for calm and conversations as a means to ward off a wider conflict that might lead to the destabilization of the whole region.
While the tension is mounting, the entire world community is observing with great interest. The Middle East continues to be a major hot spot from the point of view of international security, energy resources and economic welfare.
