I Built a Secret Luxury Gaming Room Inside My House

The challenge went on, and it became clear to me how hard it was to be without personal choice. is not always safe, fun and organized. It was really chaotic and sometimes unpredictable. Some of the choices we made were unexpectedly useful and at the same time the other choices caused total mayhem. End of the challenge made a normal day in my life the funniest day I ever had.

Another thing I have always wanted was a private gaming room that seemed out of the future. Rather than going off using a traditional bedroom setup I covertly decided to convert an old disused space inside my house into the grandest luxury gaming room. No one in my family knew about this, which made it even better.

First, I had to remove tons of old boxes, broken furniture, and other miscellaneous items that were stuffed into the room. It was covered in a layer of dust from top to bottom and the room looked like it hadn’t been used in years.

The build up got a bit chaotic. The LED strips we were putting up on the wall just suddenly cut out half way through installation for no apparent reason. I spent hours trying to sort out cables behind furniture and music blaring in the background, and the room ended up looking more like a science experiment than a luxury set up.

This actually became even more hilarious when I decided to build my own free gaming desk instead of purchasing one. The frame was on the verge of falling apart by the time I even put the monitor on it, and I had to rebuild the entire frame from scratch.

My hands were covered in paint, screws seemed to turn invisible everywhere, and even one little mistake led to another disaster. And once the bulk of the construction was done the room began to look simply incredible. The neon bounces evenly all over the walls, the huge monitor makes gaming cinematic, and the high tech chair simply oozes luxury. At last, for the first time in the entire projet, the hidden room looked like the dream gaming room I wanted from day one.

To crank it up a notch, I also brought in a mini snack station with energy drinks, instant noodles, chips, and multi-colored candy. Smart lights added beautiful colors to the whole place to set the mood and adapt automatically with the game. It was another world in the room, filled with modern, hi-tech devices as if entering a professional esports arena. The funniest part was when the power unexpectedly went off while doing the last setup test.

All the luminous lights began flashing randomly while loud gaming noises came from nowhere. For a second it appeared as if we were in a sci-fi horror film. When I finished everything, I called some friends to come and see the secret room for the first time.

The reactions were hilarious. No one expected that the storage room hidden behind the bookcase will become such a luxurious room. Everyone instantly grabbed console, switched on the RGB lights and started playing games like in a professional gaming tournament.
